Legal residence in Poland

A CUKR card, a temporary residence permit
filed correctly the first time

All online, in one place. We walk you through it step by step — from the photo to a correctly filed application in MOS.

The account, the assistant, the qualification check and some tools are free. You pay for a case once, after creating an account, and only when you decide to go ahead.

Your data and its security

An application is your most sensitive data

So security and privacy are not an add-on here — we put them first.

Uploaded files are deleted once you file

We would rather not hold sensitive data, passport scans or photos at all. We need them only while your application is being prepared. We keep them encrypted in the EU and delete them once you confirm your application was submitted — no later than 60 days after the last change to your case, with a reminder 10 days before. At that point we also delete the most sensitive data from the application. You can delete your account at any moment.

We encrypt the connection and your data

The connection to Dopomo is encrypted, and the data and files on our servers are kept in encrypted form. The keys to them are on our side, and we guard them closely.

Some data we never store at all

Answers about criminal records, and the nationality and distinguishing marks from the application form, never reach our servers — they are encrypted only in your browser and vanish when you close the tab, log out or finish the application.

You file the application, not us

We have no access to your MOS account or your Profil Zaufany. We do not sell your data — we entrust it only to the providers named in the Privacy Policy. You sign and send it yourself, when you decide everything is ready.

Why getting it right matters

Three things the office does not forgive

MOS accepts a flawed application

The official MOS portal is online, but it will not tell you about most of the mistakes you can make. It accepts the application, and you learn about a request for documents, a refusal or a discontinued case from a letter, months later.

Official fees are gone

440 zł for CUKR, 540 zł for temporary residence. If the case is discontinued or refused, they go — along with the months you waited.

All online, one price

Biometric photo, passport scan, the completed form, the fees, walking through MOS and a 24/7 assistant — without leaving home and without sourcing anything elsewhere. Everything in one place.

Questions and answers

How do I get a residence card in 2026?

The route is the same for everyone: check whether you qualify, gather your documents, take a biometric photo, fill in the application and file it electronically through the MOS portal. The simplest way to sign the application is a Profil Zaufany — you activate it free of charge through online banking. Dopomo walks you through each of these steps.

Which residence card is for people on the UKR status?

For people on the "UKR" status it is the CUKR card — a temporary-residence permit for 3 years that replaces temporary protection. The conditions and the whole path are laid out on a separate timeline, and the assistant checks your own situation. Anyone who already holds an ordinary temporary-residence permit follows a different route.

How does CUKR differ from an ordinary residence card?

The CUKR procedure is simpler — fewer formalities than a standard application — but it is open only to people whose "UKR" status was active. An ordinary residence card requires a ground — work, study or family — and a full set of documents. Both give you legal residence, and time on either usually counts toward EU long-term residency.

Where can I get help with a residence card?

The Dopomo assistant answers in Polish, Ukrainian, Russian and English, and works from official sources. The account, the assistant and the qualification check are free, and official fees always go straight to the office. What handling your case covers and what it costs is shown higher up on this page.
